Thoughtbus Customer Support

At Thoughtbus our goal is your organization's success. To help enable this, we provide you with support to ensure you are able to productively use the Thoughtbus hosted services.

Getting Started
Once you've signed up for the service, you can get started right away using Outlook Web Access! Just point your browser at http://mail.thoughtbus.com and you're off and running. Outlook Web Access is a great way to get to your email when you're traveling, whether you're on the road or in the air.

Using the full Outlook client

Depending on the version of Outlook you are using, the operating system on your computer(s), and your Internet connectivity restrictions, there are a number of ways to configure the full Outlook client.

Here are quick links to some common configurations -

If you are on Exchange 2007: Outlook 2007 on Windows XP or Windows Vista
  Outlook 2003 on Windows XP

If you are on Exchange 2003: Outlook 2003 on Windows XP
  Outlook 2007 on Windows XP
  Outlook 2007 on Windows Vista

Or, if you don't see your operating system / Outlook version listed above,

Using Windows Mail, Outlook Express or Mozilla Thunderbird
You can also connect to Thoughtbus using Outlook Express, Windows Mail (on Vista), or Mozilla Thunderbird. (Note that with this configuration, you will not be able to use a number of features, including views, and forms such as Contacts and Appointments, that are so useful when working with Thoughtbus via Outlook and Outlook Web Access. In addition, Public Folders are only available via IMAP if your Thoughtbus mailbox is on an Exchange 2003 server and you substitute the hostname 'imail2k3.thoughtbus.com' to replace the standard 'imail.thoughtbus.com' in the following procedures. If your mailbox is then moved to Exchange 2007, this email client configuration using 'imail2k3.thoughtbus.com' will stop working.)
