Wireless
setup of Exchange ActiveSync: Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional
Pre-requisites
for wireless setup

will need the following items to get started:

- Ensure
that your wireless device is in an area with good data network reception.
- Click
“Start” and choose “Messaging”.

- From
within the Messaging application, tap the “New E-mail Account” box.

- In
the next screen, enter your full primary email address, and ensure
that the “Try to get settings automatically…” box is unchecked.

- For
e-mail provider, click the drop-down box and choose “Exchange server” and
tap “Next”.

- Tap
“Next” again in the following screen.

- For
“Server address”, enter mail.thoughtbus.com. The SSL box can be
either checked or unchecked – either should work, although we recommend
keeping it checked.

- In
the next screen, enter your UPN Login. This is the same login ID
that you use to log into Outlook. As soon as you enter the “@” sign, the
“Domain” field automatically greys out (or in this case, light-blues
out). Tap “Next”.

- In
the final screen, you can choose which of your folders you wish to
wirelessly synchronize. Unchecking any of these boxes will cause the
respective item to not be synchronized.

- Click
“Finish”, and you’ll be taken to your Messaging Inbox, where a
synchronization will automatically start if everything has been configured
correctly.
