How to determine which Android operating system version is on your
device
Android Operating System version information is typically located in the “About” section of your Android phone. You may need to refer to the device owner’s manual, your phone provider or phone manufacturer on how navigate to the “About” screen. The following directions will work in most cases.
1. Tap/press the Menu/Options button on your Android device and select “Settings”, “Options”
a. You may not have a button for this; it may be an option on the device’s screen itself.
2. Look for section named “About”, “About phone”, “Device Information” or another title that may have information about the device.
3. Once you find the “About” section look for “Android Version”
a. Version information may also be under a sub-section of “About” called “Device Information”, etc.
4. Once you have the version number on your device, return to “Step 2” under “Configuring Exchange ActiveSync on Android Phones” above.
