Treo setup: Bypassing the
'Error on Page' message in Windows XP with Service Pack 2
- If, when you press the 'Install' button to begin the
download of Pylon Anywhere to your PC, you see the 'Error on page' message
(shown below), then please follow these instructions.


- In addition to the 'Error on page' message, you should
also have an 'Information Bar' message at the top of the Internet Explorer
window. This message mentions an ActiveX control that you 'might
require'. For the Pylon Anywhere installation, you will require
this ActiveX control, so click on the message with your PC's mouse. When
you do so, the following pop-up menu appears:


- Select 'Install ActiveX Control…' from the pop-up
menu. This causes the following window to appear:

- Press the 'Retry' button. Next, the following window
appears:

- Press the 'Install' button. Finally, the following
window appears and you may continue where you left off with the 'Setting
Up a Treo 600 or 650 smartphone with Thoughtbus Hosted Exchange'
procedure.
